Provide low cost spay/neuter and wellness services for cats.
Programs and Services
- Low Cost Spay Neuter Washington County (Fix 'Ur Cat) is the only provider in Washington County of low cost, high quality, high volume spay/neuter services for cats and kittens. A cat can easily produce 3 litters of kittens per season, and if unchecked can quickly overwhelm available resources in the area including access to shelter and rescue space. Large numbers of roaming cats, sick cats or unvaccinated cats can also contribute to public health concerns. Fix 'Ur Cat offers answers to these problems at a very reasonable rate.
- Our clients include rescues that use our services to ready homeless cats for adoption; private clients who are income sensitive or fixed income seniors; veterans; farmers who often become dumping grounds for unwanted cats and kittens; colony caretakers; and others. Fix 'Ur Cat has expanded into wellness services to support these same clients, and also offers more challenging surgeries at greatly reduced cost such as eye enucleations, limb and tail removal.
- In 2023 we spayed/neutered over 3800 cats, and are well on our way to surpassing that number in 2024.
